I got me a tattoo

are u 18 yet? I thought you were 16. I got my first one when I turned 17.....I got 6 of t hem now ;)

now you can be different like all the other different kids.

if I get a tattoo, I'll either get a bar code on my neck, or I'll get "Your Name" in cursive on my ass like the dude on jackass...
 
Agreed. About the only tatoo I like is the Marine Corp, now that's cool. Ya gotta earn it.

I dont think he got the tatoo to be different, maybe he got it b/c he likes it??? nah couldnt be :rolleyes: I like how some people have to hate on those with tats - maybe some old folks regret them but look at everyone our age that has them (18-30 year olds) when we are all 60 we will still have them I dont think its going to be a big deal. NIKE execs MUST get the swoosh, So West Airlines prez and many excs have that logo, lets not talk about Harley and there company - not a big deal really - do what pleases you just make sure you like it for the long run.

Thats a fucking ignorant comment....tatoos are a form of self- expression. I think people should get tatoos that have meaning , or else you might regret it. I got a picture of my Daughter and My little brother 's name on my back (after he passed away)

I think tatoos should be an exspession of yourself. Everybody can get generic ones. Get something that means something. Here is my first about three years ago. Granted way before the juice, so be gental!

just out of sheer curiosity - what is the personal meaning of a screaming exploding skull?

I know that the flaming naked girl's skull on my back represents my feminine side and that is special to me.
 
i didnt pierce my nipple to be accepted,i feel that the body is a beautiful thing,decorate it,people still think im weird for that now the meaning of my tat is im irish thats why i got a clover,and im catholic hence the trinites
it wasnt to be cool or different ,i got it because those two things will never change,ill always be irish/catholic
 
Who gives a shit, why are you people that are against it so wrapped up in other peoples bodies and what they do to it. Mind your own damn business, hate - but hate silently. Im going to get mine re-done today (inks fading) and maybe pick up a new one if I can decide on the celtic cross or my initials..

Oak, I'm Irish too, and was thinking about getting something similar, I want something that represents something special in my life. I have some different ideas, but I haven't made up my mind yet. Post a pic of your tat when you can get one.
 
Tattoos and juice are a very personal choice issue. Love it or hate is what I say, and I do say I have 2 tattoos. Yes, they came out of period when I did not know better, but if you don't like them you could get it removed, laser style.

Or you could have another piece put over it/them and it will not be noticed, or from others who claim this experience for themselves. I don't trust them on this one.

I've got a Yin/Yang on my right calf. It totally represents my view on life. I do regret getting it though, cause I think it makes me look trashy in shorts. I don't think other people look trashy, just critiquing myself. I advise again people getting one after waking up in Padre' and having four 1800 maragitas for breakfast and having your girlfriend at the times name put undernieth it. I had the name covered up and I like it a whole lot better.
 
I've got a picture of a dancing hot dog on my neck. I guess I regret that one. I'm not sure what possesed me to get it, but I suppose I was probably drunk. on life. and beer.
 
and for the record - I think the subject of this thread should read "I gots me a tattoo" - sounds better.
