i got a SHOCKWAVE question... for those that use it...

if i go to a website, and down load the .swf file then open it with shockwave, will i be able to edit it? i found one where George bush is dancing around, and you can control his movements but clicking buttons, i want to put my friends face on their instead. is this possible?

no.
you can't edit it.
and it is likely a flash file.

that is the point of it - you compile the raster system and then a player can see it, but not uncompress it and change it.

now if you can find a .fla file, then that is someone leaving the actual file and you CAN edit that - usually on tutorial sites is where you will find this.

that said - it is easy to reverse engineer - all that shit it easy - get flash (they have a free trial of it) and try to make your version of it.
you might even learn something that helps you make money.
