I got a new toy

Ok, it is for my girlfriend but the thing is a damn blast to shoot.

I am going to give her this .40 and buy the XD-45 for myself. A .40 feels like a cap gun to me personally.

I almost died laughing when we went to the gun store and she didn't like some of the best weapons available out there because" they aren't cute enough."
I guess I will have two new handguns after I buy the .45 because she wants the "cute" two-toned xd-40, so I told her I would order one for her.
Now all she wants to do is go shooting. I have created a monster. Everyone pray that she doesn't get mad and turn it on me. lol

I am surprized at how much I like this handgun considering I am a 1911 fan and love the feel of the wood and metal. Who knew I would actually like a poly gun?

Thanks, The .40 is a very nice weapon and a blast to shoot. Well-balanced and accurate. The sights are a change from my 1911 but I am getting good with it now after a few adjustments.

I am going to get her the ported, bi-tone .40 and keep this one. She is only about 100lbs so the porting should help a lot. I let her shoot my .45 and it almost came out of her hands the first time.

I will be ordering the XD-45 ACP on Monday. Like a kid waiting to open his Xmas presents until it arrives lol.
