I got 2 very important questions

Smokescreen

1- at what age should a man stop the use of steroids completely?

2- how can steroids actually cause death?

1. A person should stop when it causes death
2. It can cause death by stopping it's use

j/k I don't think there's an age at which one should stop but excessive use and abuse can cause health problems.

Some bodybuilders just call it quits after long years of training and juicing.
Steroids wont cause death directly.

So a man of 60 years old or maybe more can take a very small amount of gear and be ok????

About the death thing. Its just that I wonder how these wrestlers drop dead all of a sudden. And they claim it was from steroid use. Don't they know how to use the steroids? Dont they get checkups?

probably b/c the media jumps right on and starts blaming people that used steriods. they just assume thats the cause. thats what is giving us guys such a bad rap these days. b/c of the media and crap.

I know of a few peeps in their fifties that use gear.

They're not going to cause death directly, but they can aggravate cardiac issues. High blood pressure that sort of thing.

I recently had a conversation with someone that said gear is like drinking or smaoking cigs, its bad for your health and can cause death but only if abused. Also can cause death by aggravating a health problem you already have. i don't know how much of this is true but he seemed to know his stuff. He said ultimatly roids aren't that bad for you just how you use them and what you do while on them. Also PCt is very important

my gf's dad(50's) used aas and he had such high blood pressure his entire face was blood red..

But what if BP is not an issue. Don't gear at that age of over 50 fuck up the prostate? All this shit came into my mind because I don't want to be 60 years old and above and look and feel like total shit! I would like to be 65 years old and look good and feel nice. I'm not saying that I would take 1gram of test per week. But more like 100mgs of Test with say 200mgs of Primo per week. That would be enough to hold some fat off and keep somewhat of nice physique for a 65 year old.

Al Beckles was still in the O in his 60s.
Indirectly, high blood pressure can kill as can cholesterol buildup. AAS can worsen these two things.

exactly.

on a side note, the only way that i know that steroids can be the sole contributor to death is if you injected directly into your carotid artery and gave yourself an embolism.

I think every Dr. you spoke to would give you a different answer.. there are most likely studies that support all angles. I don't believe there is a definitive answer to either of those questions!

1. When he can't give it 100% in the gym anymore - the older we get, the more damage we can cause by lifting heavy weights and putting ourselves through high-intensity workouts. A fact of life that is sometimes hard to come to terms with.

2. Other people touched on it - high bp, cholesterol, liver damage, prostate enlargement

I'm not saying to be 65 years old and up be looking like a bodybuilder. But I would like to at least look really good for that age. Don't have to be 200lbs plus. But at least 170lbs. A little lean with some good amount of muscle. Maybe still able to have sex. Shit like that.
