I f**ckin hate being sick

I've been sick for about three days now. Nothing major. Though, I just started a cycle only about three weeks ago and not too long ago I saw that I was making some serious gains. After being sick for a few days it looks like I lost some of those gains. I'm so pissed off. Any body got any comments? They're welcome.
 
Same thing here!It really pisses me off. Although I am off cycle and was holding all my gains pretty nicely, and then bam I get friggin' sick. I was laid up for 4 days and sick for 6. I couldn't eat anything but soup and jello for almost 4 days. I dropped 10lbs and now I feel miserable and soft. I was really weak and dehydrated. Now I'm resisiting the temptation to try and gain it all back in a few days cause that'll just be flab. Might just have to reschedule that next cycle a few weeks sooner than planned.

Feelin the pain right now too guys. Started gettin sick a couple days ago but kept training, today I'm definitley stuck at home. It's the worst, I'll be crawlin back into bed shortly.
 
Sorry to hear it bud. Up your glutamine intake, along with Zinc and vit.C Really helps to boost immune system and shorten length of sick time. Good luck and keep trainning.
 
i'm right there with you guys. i got sick last sat and i'm finally starting to recover. doc has me pumping the antibiotics.

whatever i got put me on my ass bad. and now i'm stuck with some godawful skin rash to go along with my still swollen glands and headache. at least the chills and fever are gone, and i'm not constantly dizzy and dead ass tired anymore.

oh well. could've been worse. my neck was so sore and my head hurt so bad the first few days i though i had meningitis. thank god it wasn't that. doc seems to think it may have been a strep infection, so probably good i got on the antibiotics in case, cause i guess that shit can fuck up your kidneys and heart if not treated.

worst part of it all, i haven't been in the gym since last fri. and my diet has gone to hell.
 
I believe I will take the cake on this issue: 13lb. weight loss last week, 2 nights in hospital, ultrasound last Tuesday, kidney specialist next week, oh and my girlfriend's pregnant, wife's pissed!! just kiddin about that last part...
 
i put the same thead up 2 days ago...it sucks...im in the middle of a very expensive cycle....im not too sick so im just bearing it out and even though im sick im still getting stronger...but im layin off the cardio cause my cough hurts like hell!
 
I feel your pain. I got some kind of respiratory infection that has triggered a severe persistent cough. Prescription cough medicine with codine did not help much. I have now gone 3 weeks with no lifting, cardio or any type of exercise. Fortunately, it's not a stomach thing so I can eat more or less normally and I'll find out when I get to the gym Monday how much weight I've lost, hopefully not too much. I did not have to go this long without any cardio/weight training when I had shoulder surgery.
