I dont get single moms

Ive had several hit on me, and i dont get them. Are they looking for someone to replace the dad, or are they just looking for company independent of their role as a mother? What is with them?

From what I know, they are not generally looking for a new daddy. Especially if they are hitting on a young guy who has minimal resources. Usually, that means, that they just want to hang out and play.

Thanks for asking. I decided to get a lawyer cause I was pretty freaked out. Found out the kid has 2 last names, but got them both and reported him... that took a few days. If I want to, the lawyer says I could file either assault with a deadly weapon (bats), or depending on how the sequence of events actually happened, possibly attempted murder.

I got some pepper spray I carry with me to and from the car now, and a bat of my own to keep by the door. I just don't know if I want to go through a court deal.. or maybe just move and hope it's over. I'll decide this weekend and go forward.

i generally view money as a way to buy my freedom from working, not as a way to buy newer and better stuff. Because of that no matter how much i make i will still live a relatively simple life, so it can be argued that i will never 'have money' no matter how much i make.

Well, the single mom's I've had experience dating are professional and late 20's and older. They wanted a man independent of their children and not to take care of them or their children. However, I date independent women who don't want a man to "take care" of them. I'm sure like most things in life you'll find women looking for a man to support them, children or not, and independent minded women. The rub is quickly identifying which you're dealing with.

I live in Wa state(hopefully moving back to missouri this summr) which is pretty much one big navy base. 85% of the women here that are 18 and older are single mothers. mostly white girls with black babies.

everytime i see them all i think ("what's up baby girl, I love you girl" **1 hour later after fuckin her** bitch please, i'm being transered to a differetn state) funny stuff. women are dumb, the guys whose do this to them are even dumber

i think its hard to get innvolved with single moms. because if you really pour your heart into it, you WILL fall in love with both the mom and the kid(s). And if she pulls back or something happends, you will not only lose the woman, but the kids as well, been there, done that. never again.

I almost wanted to argue with her on your behalf, because I've seen her do this same thing on other threads. She takes some good advice a guy gives another guy, says it's COMPLETELY wrong, then paints a picture of women being exactly the opposite, horny and willing and fun and carefree.

Exceptions prove the rule, and she may be an exception. She gives dangerous info though.

Although I'm not a single mother, I'll give my opinion on this anyway. After all, several males have and we sure hope they aren't single mothers either.

I agree with big4life on this one. Single moms are people just like you and me. They don't have extra baggage....sorry, that's just not what kids should be referred to. Some single moms are looking for a new daddy. They may have some harsh feelings toward the kids' biological father and think they can find a better one. Or maybe they just want their kids to have a dad around all the time instead of just weekends, etc. So yes, there are some like that. Then there are single moms that simply want some male companionship. That could come in the form of a good roll in the hay or maybe someone to have dinner with. That's the same attitude as millions of other people. Not just single moms. My last possibility could be a shocker so hold on to your shorts....maybe they just thought you were a nice guy. It's always possible. Maybe you shouldn't look for motives. Assumptions get you nowhere.
