As I have officially seen it all. :)

Some dude just came in and bought a 2003 Navigator from me for $36,900, and he paid cash. Right, right......usually no biggie, as cash is described when someone uses a cashier's check.

Not this guy he paid in $100's, $20's, $10's, and more $5's than I have ever seen at one time. 4,910 to be exact........what the hell.

I'm seriously thinking of telling this dude no, as my finance girl is still working with him.

Are you worried that it is stolen, or just untaxed. The latter isn't an issue for you correct?

I really need to learn how to incorporate more than one quote into a response.....so I don't post so many damn times.... :)

The worry is just general in nature. I'm sure it wasn't taxed, unless he's an ethical dealer, and imposing taxes on his $5 rocks. A fellow dealer lost a car this way a few years back, due to the money being marked in a drug deal, so the govt. got his money and the car.

This deal was brokered before I got in this morning, so there was bit of shock when I saw over 4,000 $5 bills in my finance girls office.

At any rate, I sent the dude packing. I have had many people come in and buy $5,000 cars with $100 bills, no biggie, but I would need a hefty bag to make this deposit. :)

Need any help in your business office?? I used to do the paperwork for a finance company,....

eh, probably too far away to commute...

1) get it checked to make sure money is legit

2) check legalities. u don't wnat feds looking at *you* guys when you deposit all that money instead of him at the bank.

Money is money, you should've taken it and sold the car.

I bought my old car with cash, no one blinked an eye.

you havent seen it all untill you seen a personal trainer who is retarded, can hardly pronounce anything and walks with a funny limp

I use to see millions everyday when I worked for Brinks, servicing ATM machines. I carried bags of cash with hunreds of thousands of dollars. We had as much as 20 million on a truck, maybe more.

Ummmm......nah

What car did you buy with for $36,900, with $24,550 in $5 bills???

Seeing as how I turn 50-60 cars a month, I'm not gonna lose sleep over sending some Warren G wannabe packing. It's a low mileage 03' Navigator, it will sell. :)

If homeboy w/the loot was smart, he would get cashiers checks, unreportable if under 8 large...

Now that I think of it, i used 20's... 5's would be kinda fishy i admit.
