I bought a PS2 for $100

Actually I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I've been playing heck outta it. I just took break from playing right now. I wasn't planning on getting it that day but when I saw it a pawn shop for $100 so I had to grab it.

Thanks yeah I thought so. It's hard but me pass up a good deal. Then I spent another $150 on games memory card and another controller. So it begins.

I heart eBay. Just picked up the Final Fantasy X-2 import there for $57.20 including shipping - whereas most online import vendors wanted around $65 before shipping.

Nice to see that other people haven't grown out of video games either.

You might be lucky, open it up, and check the internal power supply's fuse. Grab a can of flux cleaner or pcb board cleaner, and mop out the sticky wine residue.

Fire it up, and stand back.

I like it quite a bit. I've only played for about 5 hours so far, and it's everything one could hope for in the first direct sequel to a Final Fantasy game. The graphics are still gorgeous, and Square seems to have slightly upgraded the character models, facial expressions, and lip-synching. Lots of nostalgia in visiting locations from the first game and seeing how they've changed and grown up. The battle, class, leveling, and equipment systems are different, but not for the worse - it's pretty easy to learn.

That's about all I can say without divulging spoilers.
