Hey all, Well lately I haven't been to the Gym( 2 months ) at the present time I do not have a "CAR"( Have to wait until the summer ) and I can't take catching the bus to the gym right now, and I surely don't want to set-up a home gym again.

plus , I have no money for a good diet( all money going to a car and school ), So I'm bound to live by my parents sorry diet( which is NOTHING!) So, lately I haven't been eating much and i'm already down from 230 to 204( must be mostly water and muscle ) but hell, I actually look like I've put on some muscle.

I can't wait to get a Car so I can return back to the gym :(. but as of right Now I'm just going to start doing H.I.T cardio in the morning( on my bike ) and take a ECA( worthless right now I know ) and make sure I don't overconsume calories .

What would you do? and don't say "Catch the bus" cause I doubt you fu()kers would, cause it takes me 1 hour to get to the gym and 1 hour to get back home, when the Gym is only a 15 minute drive at best.
 
DO HIIT lifting at the gym 2 times a week. This should be sufficient to maintain/build muscle. Also, do the bike riding on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Pop the ECA 30-45 minutes prior to riding. Goodluck
 
I know it sounds girly but try ta do some calisthenics.
A little has gotta be better than nothing.
I'm sure you can find something around your house ta lift.(just til you can get back to the gym)

I saw a work out program not to long ago in Men's Health for those on a low budget... can't remember when it was... but if you have some sort of access to a periodical index that has men's Health... check it out... it listed some good exersizes that you can do w/ just some dumbells...
 
If you don't wnat to go to the gym, try bodyweight workouts (push ups, dips, pull ups). Do a few sets to or near failure. You should do okay with that.
 
Reverse pushups for tri's, push ups for chest, pull ups for back, lunges for legs, crunches, headstand pushups for shoulders. It will get you by until you get back to the gym.
 
That's funny ... I wonder why I don't have a problem getting on a train at 6am for a 1 hour commute to the gym? Every day.

Maybe you could do some construction work for your folks, lol - carry some heavy cement bags around ...
 
If it's important enough to you make arangements to get to the gym.

an excuse is an excuse. Take the bus, work something out with your parents, set up your own gym.....do something.
 
Hershal Walker(ex-football player) was huge and he never lifted any weights. According to him he did nothing but Body weight workouts. He probably did outrageous amounts, but it was impressive. I bet he ate pretty good though.

As for food. 1 can of tuna costs less than a dollar. Eat 2 a day with some mayo and you will be OK for a little while.

If you are riding your bike than you should just ride it to the gym. a 15 min drive shouldn't take you more than 45 minutes on a bike. If you are too tired after WO than take the bus home. I don't know about where you live, but here in Austin, Tx the buses have bike racks on the front. This was you can combine 2 workouts into one.
 
When I have trouble getting to the gym (overtime at work, deadlines) I do body weight exercises. That's the great thing about having kids, I just put my 7 year old on my back and do some pushups!

Everyone's right bro, find a way. You've come up with just about every excuse there is, do you really just want us to tell you that it is ok to not workout? Anything is possible if you want it bad enough. No offense, but you just have to find a way to get it done. The HIT suggestion was a great one as far as minimizing trips to the gym.

hey go to the gym once a week and do full body, or 2 and do a split. u can put up with using the bus once a week can u ? trying running to the gym then using bus back.
