Yes, there are blacks who abuse the "white guilt" card, but I'm not talking about them, they're wrong.

But the argument was about Killabee resenting the fact that blacks have their own shows, networks etc. That's not having to do with "owing" anybody, it's just preference.

Hispanics are a culture that was here before white people were here, why do you think all the Western states have Spanish names?

White men didnt invent slavery, but they were the first ones to end it. It's still going on all over Africa, but that doesnt seem to interest anyone. More profitable to keep talking about past wrongs.

In any case, a half million white men gave their lives in the war to end slavery, but they never seem to get much mention either.

My family only got here in the 1950's, and none of them owned slaves. I dont owe anyone shiat for slavery.

But I do think as a country we owe redress for segregation. We did damage to the community so yeah, we owe some special treatement to correct some of the damage that was done.

True, I understand your point, it's a real paradox. I think blacks want their own networks because they're tired of relying on the big three ABC, CBS, NBC to give them any black oriented shows....at least in the variety and quantity they want. That's why you have BET, UPN......etc.

In my experience, blacks don't come up to me preaching about anything....equality, or any of that.

I actually had a black boss a while ago that told me I could be in the NAACP, cause technically I was "colored". I guess colored meant anything other than WASP? He was a dumb shit though

I doubt Italians would be accepted in to the NAACP.
