I got my first one before my 39th b-day. I have a few in my goatee. I've earned those bastards and I'm quite proud of them. lol

Starfish plucked my 2 gray hairs out and it hurt. I'll get you back.

Yeah Biteme, it doesn't really bother me. I have earned them too. My brother is only 3 years older than me and has them bad, his goatee is nice and grey now so I am not too worried. Tough week in the patch up here. 3 guys were killed, one crushed by a joint of 24 casing and one derrick pulled in while they were tripping pipe. Killed one guy on the floor instantly and severed the derrickhand's arm (my position) Granted he was 90 ft in the air when this happened and ended up in the dirt. He bled to death before the flight for life got there. That would make you grey in a hurry.
 
I got some greys around 17. Starting balding around 22'ish.
 
Grey hair on men isnt that bad, unless your 60 wear hawaiian shirts unbuttoned to ur belly button and a big gut hanging out with 100 gold necklaces

I started greying back in high school (just stray hairs).

I'm just comforted by the reality that at least I've kept most of my hair. If I can avoid impotence as well, then I'll judge myself to be ahead of the game (pun intended):)
 
I only have few grey hairs and they`re all on the side of my head. I`d rather have them on the sides than the top, so I`m still good for now.

I feel your pain. I started losing hair around 19 or so, and my first grey came in around 26. It rapidly went down hill from there.
 
Has grey hairs for close to 5 years now. I'm 27. My dad was full on silver at about 45. We both still got a full head of hair tho.

Umm, I've already had white hair (although I say they are blonde) and a couple of grey hair. I'm nearing 23. So, no you're not old. You just want to look distinguished earlier than some. :)

I agree. Richard Gere looks sexy with grey hair. Couldn't imagine him with any other hair type. I think it is all in the way men present themselves though. Grey hair on some men makes them look sophisticated.

I do not find a man attractive unless he has grey hair. He could be drop dead gorgeous, but if no grey hair then I feel he is too young for me. It's like the strong jaw-line thing. I don't know why it attracts me, but dammit, does it ever!!!

Bald head is in the number two spot. If you are getting thin, then shave that shit.

I truly love a rugged masculine looking man.... God, there is nothing sexier or more appealing!

I started going grey a bit myself about 2 years ago. I don't have a lot, but the few that I do have are very noticeable. (One on each temple and another few in my part on top.) Honestly, it makes me feel old and though it doesn't drive me nuts, I color my hair anyways.

I am closer to 40 than I am 30 but my ass is 22 so I guess it is all good. ;)

Yep this business will make you get old in a hurry. Sorry to hear about the problems out there, glad you weren't one of the ones caught. I am going back out on the rigs for the first time in a while out in Indiana tomorrow, which will add a few more greys to my nearly third grey mellon.

About a 9 on the tension scale there bud. I think it is amusing that I found a grey hair. Obviously losing your hair bothers you much more.

Check out the second line of Werd's post. Girls loved it when I shaved my head. I say just shave it and go from there. If I ever start losing my hair I will put the razor to it.
