I am fasting for Ramadan

New member
here is the plan:

Eat one meal before sunrise with about:
3/6ths Complex Carbs( must be complex not simple)
2/6ths Lean Protiens
1/6th Fats

Eat the same Meal at Dark.

This fast may actually force me to make the BEST food choices since I have alot of muscle mass and wish to retain it.
Hence I may be forced to clean up my diet.

Ya Im fasting for Ramadan also, except after the 3rd day I am cooking a whole PIG and feasting....
 
Omega? I never knew you were Muslim. Salaamz bro. I just eat my same exact diet, except in the evening and the meals are closer toghether. Some fast acting carbs (Dates) with oats and some whey to break the fast, then go workout, then PWO shake. Works well.
 
i'm eating more for ramadan.

I respect the Noble Traits of the Noble Religions.

I ignore the agressive and oppressive which in my opinion did not come from God
in the first place,

Islam is a great Religion
as is Christianity.

the only downfall is the disposition of some to have a relgiuos state, and to overly shelter and oppress women.

Right is The Passive Traits, The Gentle traits, The Kind traits, The forgiving and loving traits....

I didnt imply it wasnt. Wasnt judging, just making an observation. You do realize that ALL religions frown on "pickers and choosers".... right?

alot of people in fact most people tend to be even handed in their open minds.

It seems to be af ew bad apples, thet tend to lead ,
that have misdirected so many.........

People who have faith are trusting, not stupid as some would like to believe.



However anyone that professes that they truly believe and is agressive about it in a way that inhibits others free will ,
is not a true beliver at all, since Faith is all they need to convince.

The message of hope is in itself the most powerfull wepaon of all........

Every religion states that one may not pick and choose what religious "rules" they WANT to ascribe to, otherwise they are labeled as one that is not a "true" believer. If you dont associate yourself personally with any one religion - cool.

One of the reasons organized religion and I dont really get on too well. Havent found one yet that I can agree with all "the rules".

bro, hell muhfukin yes.

keep in mind:

1. i eat chinese almost every day (i.e. pork dumplings almost every day...i could get them with vegetables, chicken, or shrimp...but fuck that).

2. i was lucky enough to be born into a pocket of civilization which probably considers circumcision an absurd act and barbaric act. which it is.

aha, excellent question, my senile compatriot!

the answer is both. i went straight-up steamed for quite some time, but recently started having fried again. the change in texture is nice, although much of the time they fry it too crispy on the outside. it should be done with a lighter touch, imo.

Please enlighten me as I did not know one can ascribe to both.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are VERY closely related. This I know but one can not be both Jew AND Muslim/Christian AND Jew/Muslim AND Christian or all three at once. This is what I mean about picking and choosing.

Religion is man-made, hence its flaws.

Faith comes from God so it is perfect.

I can have faith without "belonging" to any organized religion. Is this what you are claiming?

You're missing on all his point. I did not read anywhere where he said "You can ascribe to both religions". Religion is man implemented, not nessacarilly man made. It is only flawed when you alter/differ it from the original plan given out to you by God.
