hypertrophy with joint problems...

I cannot lift heavy at all because of various tears and other issues with my joints...any lifting scheme that will still allow for hypertrophy?
Thanks.

These arent things that can be fixed via supplementation, they are tears, and I have had multiple surgerys and am tired of having to get them done every 6 months...

I've got some osteoarthritis and have had tendon/ligament damage, so I know a little about working out with certain joint problems.

Could you be more specific? Shoulder? Elbow? Knee? Back?
Joint itself or surrounding tissues?

The general answer is do the traditional routines with lighter weight and more reps.

There was an Arnold T3 story that said he has such pain and was doing sets of 15 with light weight.

Perhaps you can do supersets to blast the muscles with lighter weights like:

Flyes: 15 x 30lbs each, then
Bench Press: 15 x 135

Leg extensions: 20 x 50lbs, then
Squat: 15 x 185

Left shoulder torn labrum, Right shoulder was just damaged, going to get an MRI, and Right knee is somehow damaged, need to get an MRI to determine what is going on with it.
