Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating!!) help?

We are starting to get close to the summer here in TX... My ass, legs, back, chest and face sweat like I'm a madman... I have read some other articles in here about 1 year ago.. anyone know of anything else other than Certain-Dri? Any prescription drug OR anything that will take care of this problem or reduce it severly??

as bad as NY is right now, I'm glad I don't have to deal with sweating year round. You could just baby powder yourself up for now.

I sweat even in the freezing cold bro. Only under my arm pits!!! Sweating is actually a good thing, but for me it becomes a problem especially when I get dressed nice and go out on a date and stuff. I go to my doc and he shoots some kind of silicon in my armpit gland and it stops it for several months. I dont think this will help you but just stating my problems as well.

i think if you see a doctor you can get a shot that stops it for quite awhile (like 30 days) i'm not exactly sure how it works but maybe you should ask your doc if he knows anything bout it

there is also the option of botox in the affected area/s but it is painful and short lived, after i tried a few different treatments i opted for the surgery ( sympathectomy ) ( it was'nt my first choice but definitely my best ) its minimally invasive and it was done as an out patient procedure ( 45 min per incision and 1 cm in length ), was back to gym in under a week and i havent sweated a drop im nearly 3 years, this road may not be everyone's choice but if the situation is severe enough there is a final solution, it is also covered by most health insurance companies ( but check first )
