Hushmail, Elite, Zip security ?

Does leaving your hushmail up all day or being logged on all the time increase your risk of someone hacking in. I thought hush would time out, but I left in on today and it still worked when I got home. I'm not worried about people reading it in my house, just DEA etc?

the thing that gets me is that the hush engine has my passphrase logged and who can tell if that is well kept.

I have a nonpaying hush account. It's just a pain in the ass to log on with all the popups and redirection they have now. It's just easier to stay logged in.

Hushmail sucks. ZipLip is great. Never locks up like Hush. Good luck.

The hushmail system works by using whats called sessions. I'm actually surpised it didn't log you out as I thought Hushmail expired thier sessions after x amount of inactivity. At any rate, no it does not decrease your security. At least as long as no one has physical access.
