Unfortunately they cant tell within better than 50 miles, where that storm will actually hit.
CARTH- did they turn off the power ahead of time to prevent electrocution through downed wires?

Adam, I didn't know that. I'll check it out. Just got done with putting up the hurrican shutters and getting my supplies. Today has been crazy! No gas and no fucking food at the supermarkets. Clomidclown...what do you mean? Electrocution how? What power? Seems like you know more than me. And this is my first hurricane as I am not a native of Miami. BTW...I wish everybody that lives here in Florida the best. Hope SoFLAguy the best too.

You live on the West Coast.....EARTHQUAKES!!! And here in Sunny Florida...you got this fagot ass Frances motherfucker hurricane. Weeeee look at me! I blow wind!!!! I dont know if it happens too much in florida, but a lot of ppl in NY died when electric lines fell on them/in the street (they got out of their car ect..). So I was told by somebody that a lot of times they will purposly shut off power before the storm winds hit to protect people.
Just a thought.
