Human Grade vs. Vet Grade

freak daddy

New member
With companies like Ttokkyo and now Quality Vet seeming to really be catering their products toward all of us, do any of you think their quality or others will ever be close to human grade? I don't know alot about Quality Vet yet, but their prices can't be touched. Percentage wise how close do you think these companies are really coming to human grade?

IMO Human grade will always be safer and better. For no other reason then legal. It would be pretty hard for a human to sue a Vet company if something went wrong. On the other hand, if some cattle die their legal responsibility only goes so far.
However, some of the so called "Human Grade" products we buy are from countries that might not have what a more modern society would consider properly prepared.
I think the best bet is with big companies with reputations to protect.

I never used QV but I feel that ttoyyko is as safe as any thing on the market. With the amount of benzyl alcohol in their products how can anything live in there anyhow. All tt products are good.:)

Like you said originally, freak daddy, these companies that make vet steroids aren't really making them for the animals. It's my opinion that they are of the same quality. They know that they are making a product that goes to a fussy group of HUMANS and it better be good. They also know that word gets around quickly.

It's been a growing suspicion of mine that a lot of people tend to get very paranoid. Vet grade and human grade are the same thing. My opinion though!

I have never used QV because I'm a ttokkyo fan. But I would use it without worry. I have a few friends who sware by it.;)

I would have to agree about the benzyl alcohol it seems like that much benzyl alcohol would have to keep it sterile. and the higher doses these companies put in the more benzyl alcohol they have to use. if I remember correctly oil can hold roughly 200mg/ml and benzyl alcohol can hold 1000mg/ml so in combination they get the higher doses that is why the t400 hurts like a bitch.

I prefer human grade simply for piece of mind. There's alot more doubt with vet grade. That's not to say that I don't use Vet products at times though...
