Huck, help with conversions & your opinion on a theory

In the last thread we discussed how a shot of test would show a higher T COUNT reading then a shot of EQ....well how many /MG of EQ would it take to match a 500/MG shot of test on a T COUNT test?

thanks

P.S I heard a theory that states takeing testosterone shots & shutting down your natural T production will in fact help preserve your testes & procude more then you would prior to synthetic testosterone use, what your opinion on this?

thanks again

I don't think an answer exists on the eq vs.synthetic T results on serum T results.

As far as the testes producing more than normal, that is likely doubtful. The body's endogenous T machinery will always do everything in it's power to restore HOMEOSTASIS(normality of the organism). It is likely possible that large dosages of T can alter genetic capacity to utilize proteins more efficiently though(even after cessation of the drugs)through possible recruitment of satellite cells into the skeletal muscle mainframe.

Interesting,
so you feel complete & permanent shut-down of natural T production is next to near impossible?

Yes.Most endocrinologists would agree wit me on that one as well. You can shut it down for an extended period, but eventually it will start to re-initialize.

Huck, while on the subject, what do you think of the notion that Nolva should be used post cycle as opposed to Clomid to restore HPTA?

I disagree.I feel that clomid outperforms it at the pituitary level(LH initialization). If no clomid could be located, then it might be okay as a substitute,as it does perform well at the hypothalamic level(GnRH initialization).

Thanks for the feedback. What do you think about the idea that HCG should be used post cycle to induce an increase in testicular mass. The logic behind this is that the testes will not be able to produce sufficient test even in the presence of raised LH from the Clomid after the loss of testicular mass from a cycle (?)

They will,EVENTUALLY.The theory on HCG is sound,it will get the testes back on line quicker, but the problem is that HCG acts directly AS LH,and as such further keeps the catalystic machinery from producing their own endogenous hormones(as they sense there is no need with an ample amount of LH readable).I think HCG is perhaps best utilized just PRIOR to clomid therapy,if at all.

Take a gander at the Supplement Board, and a thread entitled "1-test/anabolic or androgenic", -something like that. Pat and Llewellyn are having an extensive debate on this very subject.
