Fina - septum flakes have fallen into mix and have a dark coloration. Id it ok to use as long as it is passed thru a needle filter??

do you have another filter to run it through? i would imagine that the same applies to the reason you filter it in the first place... don't want lil rocks inside your muscle. but then i don't really have a clue either.

As long as you filter it throught the .45 micron filter you'll
be fine.

Are you by any chance using Mr. T's kit?

Personally, I don't like them. I prefer A's. With Mr.T
the end result isn't even golden, its semi-clear.
I had pass it through the oven(212F), 5 times
before I was satisfied the end result was sterile
because it definately didn't look it.

T's kit - got a great golden color and clear as well. Constant jabbing with large drawing needle really chewed the septum up though.

just a thought and what i did for my second batch... i got a bunch of 10ml sterile vials and when i was making it i would fill htose up for travel and what not... never had to worry about tearing it up because it only lasted 10 days each
