HST Question...

Was curious, as I'm putting a friend on HST...

If he can't do 15 reps with his bodyweight for either chins or dips, but works out at home and can't have any machine to assist him, what do you suggest he do? Is HST not right for him?
 
Tell him to start doing those exercises when he can follow the HST progression with them.

Do extra sets of bench press and barbell rows to compensate in the early part of the cycle.

Just for future reference, I'm encouraging people to post routine questions in the appropriate routine's sticky. :D
