HST. Finished 15's. Arms are both .25" larger. Sweet.

I finish my 15's mini-cycle tomorrow. I measured my arms during SD and again tonight. Both were cold, no pumps. Both of my arms are right at 1/4 inches larger. They aren't the same size, but they are growing at the same rate. They both look very noticably larger. I just thought that I would brag.

I have had my diet in check all except today and yesterday- mainly because my refridge is empty. A trip to wally world is due tomorrow.
I love the ease of HST though. It's very fast paced for me and my partner. We are both noticing strength and size gains. It's great. If I could only find more time for sleep, but with ROTC and school work, it is very difficult.

After I finish the 10's I usually see the most gains...last time my arms were up half an inch 4 weeks in. Keep it up.
 
I finished it up an hour ago. I blew my preset maxes away. I still did my prescribed maxes, but I could have done much more. Usually 10-15 lbs more. I wrote down what I thought I could do, so the next cycle can take advantage of this info.

JohnnyC, those rear delt crossovers are a BITCH and a 1/2!!!! They kill my shoulders. I haven't felt a burn like that in a while. I still cant give any K yet.

Also, to bring up the diameter of my left bicep, I did and will continue to add 5 reps to my curls only on my left arm. I hope this will speed up the progress in my left arm so that it can catch up to my right.

Cmdubs, 1/2 an inch in 4 weeks is totally insane. Congratulations! I hope I get there. I never thought that a 1/4 of an inch was possible in two weeks, but HST is for real. K to ya.
 
Since my left arm is smaller than my right arm, do you all think it will be enough to add 5 reps to it? After I finish my seated curls, I do 5 more. I just started doing this thursday, but I like the idea. It didn't really make my arm burn though. So is this enough. I start 10's sunday. Do you think they will be the same size by the end of HST cycle?

I honestly woundn't worry too much about the size difference of your arms. Almost everyone is asymmetrical to an extent. As long as they are both growing at the same rate I'd be happy if I were you. Good job on the progress.
 
My left arm is slightly smaller and weaker than my right too...always has been. I don't think it's anything that's gonna matter in the long run though. As long as you're growing as a whole that's all that matters. Unless it's an extreme difference, which I doubt it is, I wouldn't sweat it.
 
Well, it is half an inch in diameter. It looks a lot different also. There is little peak to it, but it is starting to grow a peak. I just don't like it for myself. I just want them to be symetrical. Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Chris, dont worry about it to much right now Brah'...just stick to the program as outlined and things will take care of themselves. I wouldn't add any reps right now! If you feel your arms can take some more and arent getting the proper hypertrophic stimulas (I'd say they were though with the growth you've already experienced in your 15's) you can start adding some drop sets for them in the last week of your 5's.

Told ya ya'd like those Rear Delt Crossovers!! ;) Best rear delt isolation movement I've ever done! Now ya know why I told ya start off so light on them; even though others in the gym look at ya funny using such light weight it all adds up quickly! Now how many guys in the gym are trying them since they've seen ya doing them?

Wheel shots will be loaded up after the cycle is finished...I'm too embarrased at this point.

I planned on taking some today...but I hurt by thigh during PT this morning. I ran into a door. Those things can sneak up on you. We're playing ultimate frisbee, and I went up for one against the wall and came down on a hook shaped door handle. My leg is all bruised up right now. Luckily, I don't have to get back in the weight room until sunday night. I should be good by then.

yea. I know. We didn't have a camera then. The closestpicture I have is from the end of the 15's which is one week ago.
 
Is there a site that tells you how to do poses for pictures. I mean does it say how to look the biggest or whatnot?

MY diet...um, yea. Well. It really varies. I mean if I go to Wal MArt, It's great for a week. The next week it's ok. It's not perfect, but its definatly better than others. I also (when I have enough milk) make my own MRP shake 2-3 times a day. It's protien, milk, penut butter, and an oreo if I have one.

Tastes damn good.

DUDE!!! DIET IS EVERYTHING!!! For me it was one of those, wish I knew then what I know now kind of things...Get yer diet in order!! You'll see your biggest gains from a good diet that you stick to. If ya just wanna get bigger and aren't to worried about body-fat % then just "eat big" & often, taking in tons of protein and drinking lots of water. If you are concerned about BF% then ya really need to get yer diet in order!

Yer' MRP shake does sound like it tastes good,..but,..what kind of protein? Natty Peanut Butter? OREO?!?!?!WTF,..OREO = BAD FAT!!!
 
Yea. I was using natty PB, but I got the regular kind this go around. I've only used the oreos twice. I need to go pick up some more chicken breasts.

Its whey and milk.

Ok, I threw out the oreos, but damn. They just taste so good. I love those cookies. I'll be switching back to the nat. Penut butter when this bottle empties.

Also...I added my first drop set of 5 reps on the Calf raises today. I did them immediately after my work set with i think 40 lbs less (machine). They really brought the burn on. I am thinking about incorperating drop sets more now that I am doing 1 set of 10. You see any reason not to add them until the 5's?

Glad to hear ya did away with the Oreos,..now hows about we get the rest of yer diet in order as well?!?!

Being that this is yer first time through HST Brah' I'd wait on the drop sets at least until yer 5's...experiment with them first and see how ya feel and then try implementing them. (on your calves for now I guess it would be ok though as they can generally take more abuse,..how do they feel now?)

Yep, I read that article earlier today before my workout. I also realized that the calves would be the prime excercise to use them because they can take the beating. They feel absolutly normal now. I got back from the gym about 2-2.5 hours ago. You know, I haven't really gotten sore that much at all. I mean I was during the 15s a couple times, but I mostly just got a great pump from it.

I'm going to go to Wally World Tuesday and load up on some good shit to eat (more chicken breast). I loved grilled breast with all of the spices. I also eat a good bit of tuna (Every other day). I'm going to ramp my protien intake up as well starting earlier today.

How bad is the regular penut butter compared to the Natural kind? I'll end this before it gets outrageously long.
 
Ive kept my diet clean sunday and monday. Hopefully it will stay clean for a while to come. it will be a challege, but with some motivation, I'm sure I can keep it.

Ok. I finished the 10's tonight. My diet has been almost perfect for the last week. Very high protien, and I have even starting eating vegetables again. I haven't been because I don't like wasting food and I usually can eat a whole can plus whatever meat i am eating. I'm just putting the left overs in the fridge.
My shoulders are hurting really badly. I think it might be from extra PT we are doing this week. Any who, I did more warm ups, but I still dont think it is enough. These are the pictures after the 10's. They are poor quality due to the mirror, but noone else is here to take them. I'll get the measurements up tomorrow.
