My Doctor put me on 200 mg of cyp and wanted me to take 1cc every 4 weeks I started Monday but i want to take more i have to go in the office to get pinned. next appointment 8/19 what do you guys think.

So your taking a injection only once a month? The half life is around 12 days I think. Your going to feel ok for a week (not great) and go back down to natural testosterone levels with in about two weeks. To me, injections should be done weekly. Just seems it's too little and too far in between injections. You might even feel worse in weeks 3 and 4, because your natural testosterone might be shutoff during that time (not sure), so you would have very little testosterone during that time.

I think your gonna be on quite the roller coaster ride. Your most likely going to need at least 100mg week minimum. Ideally 100mg 2x a week or 100mg 1x a week with a nice HCG kicker.

If your dealing with a normal doc and not an HRT doc your going to be wasting a lot of time and at best he will get your T levels to mid lab range if your lucky.

not really. he would actually drop to low levels of T, his HPTA is suppressed during this.

its like driving a car 100 miles that only has 25 miles of gas in it

You definitely need to find a new doc, because your dose is way too low and your injections need to be ideally at least once per week. He apparently has no idea what he is doing for TRT. No surprise there, as many GPs out there don't have much knowledge on HRT/TRT

My PCP has me on the same regime. She prescribed 200mg EO week for me. I went last week and had my blood work done and my free test was 1157, and she wanted to take me down to 1 shot per month. lol thank god for sources.. lololololol

^^^this exactly, Rick she mentioned to me that long term TRT at even moderate doses raised the RBC and wreaked havoc on the heart muscle. She told me that long term AAS TRT could and would be fatal due to heart trouble. I have an appointment with a real HRT doctor on Sept 2nd. lol

Raised RBC is a real concern but if you dont ignore it and keep RBC levels in check then you shouldnt have any problems at all. Just donate blood every 8 weeks and RBC shouldnt be an issue.

On a side note, ive been on HRT for about 3 years and quite a few cycles before that. I recently had an echo done and my heart looked perfectly normal.

Your dr is an idiot. You should be pinning once a week ideally. I'd find a new one unless he'll listen to you. Sometimes you have to be stern but not a dick to get them to listen to you.
