hrt trt question

New member
my doctor is a douche so i am not even going to bother asking him about trt/hrt.

so i guess my question is, are there anti aging clinics out there that will work with my insurance or will i be stuck paying out of pocket.

can i do that without a referral?

I guess that would depend on your insurance. I know I can see a specialist without a referral, but my copay is a little more.

yea i need 1 with my insurance

i guess its not too much to just go to an anti aging clinic, $800 covers initial visit + blood work.

Depends on the state you are in. Some states allow clinics without needing referral from your primary care physician.

On my homepage today there was an article about how they're crackin down on the perscriptions of these. :whatever:

Anything that has to do with juicing I do off my insurance. Which has been one thing, but do not want to take the risk of them marking my sheet up and tarnishing my perfect record. Plus my Dr. is old and a fuck stick. If it get's to the point where I need to go see an endo (or I can't get juice anymore) I would do it on my surnace.

Honestly lol, not sure... I think it would still be on your chart but the insurance would not see it since they never get the bill.

i'll ask the doc at the clinic

Go see an endo. My insurance covers my therapy. Those "clinics" are playing a big loop hole that will more than likely get them shut down.

I use an anti-aging clinic, and pay directly out of pocket. have been for a couple years. Look around tho. Some of them are way over priced. they want you to come see their multi million dollar clicic with the granite counter tops and bigs fanc fish tanks. YOU PAY FOR THOSE. There are soem that just require you to have a physical and have your doctor sign off on it, and then it's all phone consults. For the most part it's cheaper than gym prices and you know what you're getting.

Ive been dealing with this for about 4 years now. Getting your insurance to cover it isnt easy unless you're really old and your test levels are REALLY low. Even then they will give your doc a lot of shit.

Also dont expect a doc that will bill your insurance to give you dosages that will make much of a difference.. the FDA is REALLY hammering down on docs prescribing Test to people they "think" dont need it. (Friend of mine got a big slap on the wrist for not filling out all the required paperwork).

Best thing to do.. go to a HRT/longevity clinic and just pay out of pocket. You can write it off on your taxes (as long as your total medical is ~7% or more of your gross salary.. or is it net LOL). Pretty easy to do these days.

Yup and having that little peice of paper sitting in your drawer if the man comes knocking... is a very nice peice of insurance.

I know a guy whose ass was saved because of that little, seemingly insignificant scrip..

if you have experience with seeing an endo please send me some tips for getting what i want lol

Really?

I would have thought the opposite.

It's time to start another TTokkyo somewhere in a legal country.

I'm not talking internet prices, but the dudes who sell out the gym for outrageous prices.

Be honest, they are gonna qualify you or not based on bloodwork and your symptoms. If you are feeling lathargic, depressed, low libido, etc and your levels come back to confirm why, then TRT is prob gonna be prescribed.

PM if you have more questions
