HRT/TRT Average Costs

If you're following a typical HRT protocol like Swale's, you'll be using about 100mg/week of Test Cyp and 250 to 500 iu/week of HCG.

A 10 mL (1000 mg) vial of DepoTestosterone can be had for about $100. That will last you 10 weeks.

A 10,000 iu vial of HCG costs about 50 bucks and will last you 8 weeks only because it expires after 60 days.

So, that's $10/week for Test and about $6/week for HCG.

You can beat these prices if you shop around, but conservatively, a reasonable HRT protocol will cost you $60/month if you don't have insurance. The price, of course, goes up if you need additional things like Nolvadex.

Great advice. Someone is making a lot of money aren't they? :)

My ins company covers the Test, but not the HCG. HCG is considered a fertility drug in their minds despite the fact that my doc has said that it is for HRT. The HCG insert even says that one of its uses is for HRT. It's not worth the hassle and constant fighting, so I just pay for the HCG myself.

If you decide to pursue HRT, make SURE that you deal with a doctor that knows what they are doing. I wasted a lot of time and spent a lot of time feeling SHITTY because my endo didn't know wtf he was doing. Most of them will try to give you a huge shot of Test only once a month or so. This will f you up big time since the half-life of Test Cyp is about 7 days. You'll have waaay too much T following the shot and you'll be running on empty by the time you're scheduled for the next one. Big time rollercoaster...both mentally and physically.

some good info. took care of some of my questions.

Been looking for a good HRT specialist in the Portland Or. area they have a bunch so I want all the info I can get before I choose one, to many clowns out there.

Im on hrt, and my insurance covers test, deca, hcg, aromasin, & finasteride. I heard it covers hgh, but not for hrt therapy. I think I found the loophole, and I will know more next week.
