Hi,
Can anyone recommend an HRT doc in NYC? I am 37 and reasonably fit, but my T levels are low. In addition, I injured my back about 18 months ago. My primary doctor sent me to an orthopedic surgeon, who said that it was age-related weakness in the wall of my L5 disc. He gave me cortisone shots and sent me to a physical therapist, but my spine still hasn't healed. Both doctors said that the slow healing is probably a function of age, but don't prescribe test, so I want to discuss HRT with an anti-aging doctor who might be more knowledgeable about test treatments. I am not sure how to go about finding a good doctor, though, because my primary doctor is not supportive. I would really appreciate any recommendations and/or advice.
