HRT cream

Can someone tell me what percentage cream .1% at 100mg/1 ml? Is this 10% strength or what? Suppose to apply once a day, my refill is food for 30 days. Its the size of basically a nickel. I am trying to figure out the possibilities of the cream for me. Supposedly, my Dr. said this cream will really work as good as injections.Dr. Said my levels of 349 at age of 36 was too low, so Dr. want to get me up at "Optimal levels" from my age of 36 to get me to levels of a 23 year old. Dr. also encouraged me to go to gym. Said it will increase my lean muscle mass. How Sweet!!! Here is a direct quote from the the Dr.

"Testosterone cream is the most physiological and effective form of
supplementation, also the safest. Injectable Test. may cause liver
toxicity (because of its Depot form) and has too many peaks in its
absorption. You'll be surprised how well the cream works."

I asked him if the cream was as potent as the injections and that was what the Dr. responded to. Also ordered DHEA 100 mg, and thyroid 30mg for me. Thanks everyone!!!

Your doctor is a dope. The liver must filter anything that goes in the body and if it's directly in the bloodstream it doesn;t matter if it's injected or topically applied. I don;t know for sure but if I had to bet I'd say the topical was more liver toxic. But it's a moot point since the toxicity is so low. Your liver works harder digesting a meal. There are less peaks with a weekly injection which provides a pretty stable influx over time.

It also doesn't "supplement." It will supress you and you'll become dependant on the exogenous T.

Most daily gels are comparable to a weekly dose of 100 mgs of the injectable at 10 times the cost.

Thanks Nelson. The only thing I disagree on is that the cream is actually very affordable at XYX for a month supply. The cream was called Lipocream, by the way. It was compounded at a compouning pharmacy.

The only Lipocream I know of isn't testosterone. It's hydrocortisone.

lipocream i think is the base that it's compounded in (like the cream itself the test is suspended in)

creams are good, some people get rashes, it's kind of a pain in the ass.

as long as you are getting good, steady test levels from the cream your fine.

injections are pretty stable if you do them every week. it's the every two week or more injections that cause the peaks and valleys in blood levels so as long as you're injecting every week you're g2g...

just whichever you prefer man, if you don't feel like sticking yourself every week use the cream, if you don't feel like rubbing cream on yourself everyday do the injects.

personally i think the daily cream application would just piss me off, i hate running oral aas for this reason it's just annoying as fuck taking pills every 4 hours.

The difference between compound and brand test is mind blowing. I was using compound test c for months then I decided to get some brand test, it cost me twice as much but, damn I couldn't believe the difference. The brand is depot, remember you get what you pay for!
