HRT and Gyno

quick question, for those of you on HRT (doses perferrably weekly / by-weekly) do you take any anti-estrogens? can you get gyno from say 250mg sust. EW or EOW?
i know sust. insn't what is generally prescribed for hrt. I personally get cyp. but I am currently just running 250mg sust. sort of as my own hrt - I guess you could say (since I had them laying around) when I was on a normal cycle (750mg sust) I ran arimidix at 1mg day. maybe I'm being paranoid but it feels like the lump under one of my nippples has gotten a tad larger. still not visable with the naked eye, but you can feel it. very hard to the touch. should I commence the arimidix again? I thought I was on a low enough dose that I would not have to worry about anti-e's?
what are your guys thoughts? karma for any help

My original HRT regimen was 200 mg/week of cyponate and they started me on 0.5mg of Armidex EoD beginning week 3 even though I presented no estrogen sides. They said it was primarily for controlling bloat. These guys did 10 weeks "on", then a 10-day HCG period starting 10 days after your last shot. They would do up to 10 weeks on / 4 weeks off but would count the HCG period as "off" (hence it was pretty agressive).

Guy's, HRT is keeping your levels within the normal range for life. Not cycling 2x the levels your body requires. Any bro on HRT I know uses 80-100mg/wk of Cyp. I am on HRT and have had gyno appear a few time, but always got my E checked and took Nolva. Get bloodwork if your concerned.

good point ^ - but I realize this is larger than an hrt dose ( I get presribed 300mg cyp at month - 150 bi-week)
I had blood work done while on this dose and my test levels were quite high.
so the concenus is that I should still run an anti-e such as arimidix at say .5mg/day?

0.5mg of Arimidix every day seems high to me. When I do 250 mg of "Ultratest" (just another test blend) per week the HRT doc still keeps me at 0.5 mg of Arimidix EoD. I prodded him about a week ago to up it to ED and got a lecture about the evils of estrogen levels getting too low. I trust the guy -- he hasn't steered me wrong yet!

Also, I think people relize that cyponate at 75-100 mg/week is more of a true "HRT" dose, but doesn't hurt to negotiate a little with your doc! ;-)
