HP vs Epson.....best value???

I like HPs CP1700 but it is hard to find 3rd party ink cartridges when one simply has to do a lot of printing. The print heads in the cartridges mean the machine is faster and the print heads never can wear out.

Epson ink cartridges are easy to find anywhere and....well.....epson is epson.

I am loking at 13x19 printers for running off a lot of contact sheets at a time.

Never had any experience with the Epsons.
Canon makes some good inkjet printers.

i have had both, the epson was a pain in the ass , seemed to run out of ink damn fast. My hp deskjet does a pretty damn good job and it seems much more well built.

Yes....Canon does, I used to think they were inferior.

I know a HP CP1700 user and the prints are amazing and the machine is fast as shit.....compared to other printers putting out that quality.

I have a couple Epsons and an Olympus dye sublimation printer that rocks the earth....expensive as hell to print 8x10s though.
