My wife's sister Mary (who is a strict Christian) is in the process of alienating her 23 year old daughter Jenny. Jenny has been staying out late with her new boyfriend (who doesn't go to church) and Mary is convinced that they are doing drugs, getting drunk, and having lots of sex. They aren't doing any of that, but Mary simply can't believe her daughter's own words simply because her BF isn't a churchgoer. It's sad IMHO.

Ironic enough, Mary was quite the troubled girl when she was young. Did all manner of drugs, became an alcoholic, had Jenny by accident with another druggy who is still in jail. Somewhere along the line she "found God" and cleaned herself up. Mary's mom (and my wife's mom) was also a strict Christian who didn't allow them to do anything as children, for fear they would "lose faith".

It's like a vicious cycle that repeats itself, somehow my wife escaped the trap and can think for herself. Jenny learns more about life from my wife than her own mom who is too scared to tell her about it (even though she experienced it firsthand). TB, if you're a virgin, you don't need to have the morning after pill lying around, but now that your parents have found it, it's too late for that advice. I would just tell them that you obviously haven't needed or taken them, and that you had them cuz your friend was nervous that her parents would find them, and that you knew your parents would trust they weren't yours if they found them. So you weren't worried to store them for her.
As for birth control, I am 25, female, and have been on the shot (depo) for many years. It actually controls my weight, unlike many other women, and I love it. I am by far, not a slut, not even sexually active right now. I am on it because I know that some day I will be sexually active and then I won't have to worry bout pregnancy then.
Condoms are good for birth control, and most importantly, disease protection. So overall, don't worry so much about not having babies since it's impossible for a virgin. When you meet a person you want to be with and have sex, use a condom for sure. Best thing to do is to go with him to a STD test. Then if he's clean, you can get on the pill. There's always that chance the condom breaks, or there isn't one around, so that's the best thing to do in that case. Phewwwww.
