I can see the Bush compound from the second floor of my new house. Maybe I'll use a potato gun on their garage.
Enough political ramblings. I am soooo sick of this election crap. What difference will it make in our lives anyway. I am too old to be drafted and I am too young for Social security. So I will keep going to work everyday to pay taxes to fund whatever numbskull is in the white house decides to waste money on. Now can we get back to seashell how old is she?

if it happens it happens. our system is what it is, and it shall remain so until it is changed. did you see that one state (i think Co) is talking about/or planning on splitting its electoral vote between candidates based on the popular vote of the state? i think that is a great idea. not a solve all, but possibly a step in the right direction.
and oh yeah, SEASHELL is absolutely gorgeous and deserves her very own thread to be discusses about in.

Kerry will lose both. And this isnt a partisan statement.
Gore had a phenomenal run in 2000 with the ability to get miniority turnout at record highs (often at 120% of actual registered voters, but thats a different issue) and at record splits (no republican in 30 years got less). Kerry will not come close to repeating that performance.
Hes also lost ground with the traditional democratic base in women. That will further erode his totals. Finally other miniority groups , jews and Latinos in particular, show hes lost ground there as well.

Unlikely though, given NY and CA favor Kerry decidedly, TX only favors Bush heavily (of large population states), and the other large population states (FL, OH etc) are more or less 50-50.
