Youre not "standing your ground" when you follow a kid walking down the street then harass/confront him for doing nothing.

It wasn't firing the shot that got her to start; it was that she went after the guy to fire the warning shot...and then shot in the direction of lil chillens.

I'm all for "stand your ground".

I'm not all for "leave the room, walk across the house, grab the gun, walk back across the house to where your crazy husband is, then fire a warning shot." That's not standing your ground as I see it.

20 for discharging it
Life for harming or killing someone

I'm with you on this one.

If a person successfully disengages from the conflict for any reason for any length of time (i.e. even walking away for a few seconds), then Stand Your Ground goes completely out the window.
