HOw was SARS created?

NAS

New member
Hey, where da hell did it came from..no, im not talking bout china..im saying how da hell did it come about/was created?

im guessing a random mutation from a virus normally only fopund in birds which can now affect humans

fatality rate probably isnt high enough to make it the global apocalypse

but its worrying. its definately plays on the back of my mind since i dont feel 100% today....

Never in history has there been a 100% lethal virus, and I doubt there will be. By evolutionary standards it would be a "dead end", since a virus requires a host for survival, if it killed off all of its hosts, then it would be dead too. Not to mention biochemical individuality, which makes each person slightly different and therefore promotes species survival.

thank you Atlanta Bio Lab

SARS was made up of 2 different types of virus.
I being the mumps and the other one I honestly forget.
This genetic make up cannot happen naturally in nature so
the conclusion is it could be a bioweapon.Whether an accidental leak or a sanctioned leak it cannot happen naturally and it obviously wouldn't be admitted on the news or CNN.LOL

I'm not familiar with this assessment of the SARS virus, but the idea that 2 genetically differing viruses cannot combine aspects of their individual genomes, creating an entirely new virus is false.

Not every virus which affects humans has humans as a host.
I remember reading about some Hanta virus which natural ressource is a mouse while being deadly when infecting a human.

For Thousands of years, Chinese families have lived very closely
with Pigs and Fowl(ducks) in their homes.
For protective reasons they basically live "Inside" the family home at night.

The fowl virus' get into the Pigs and then into the Humans, mutating as it goes into new strains of the virus.

This is why many many new strains of the flu come out of China each year or so.
