How to thank my PT...?

I was hoping some of you personal trainers out there might be able to provide me with some ideas on how to thank my personal trainer. I have been working with him for almost 4 months, and had my final session today. I wish I could keep working with him, but financially I need to give myself a break. I've made a lot of progress working with him, and he really knows his shit (just from observation, he's much better than most of the other trainers at the gym, and he's definitely better than anyone I've worked with in the past). So, I wanted to do something small for him to say thanks, but wasn't quite sure what would be appropriate. Do any of you have any ideas - maybe something a client that you've had in the past did for you that you really appreciated?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions! :)

did you take pics before and after? if so you could give those to him. or at the very least a glowing testimonial letter. recognition is great and can also help him in the future with interviews, newsletters. etc. its a small thing thats personal to him but can also help. no one likes to ask for "testimonials" from our clients. so thats an idea.

I have received many "thank you" gifts from clients: Dinners, gift certificates, ski trip, (yup, and it was killer) money, music cd's and some other stuff. The gift I appreciated the most was a card I got from a client with a heartfelt message thanking me for helping her to achieve her goals (in short). She actually made the card herself out of a photo of her and I together training at the beach her hubby took before I left. I though it was really nice, took some thought and creativity.
