How to keep cholesterol in check during cycle?

What are most of you guys supplementing to keep the LDL cholesterol in normal range on cycle? Obviously diet is a key factor, but last time mine shot up from around 150 to 220 on a 10 weeks sust/deca/dbol. I was using 10mg policosanol daily up until pct, I think it kept it in check but couldn't really prevent it from happening. Would garlic supps do any good? Any suggestions? thanks

niacin and a bunch of EFA's

but even that wont necessarily keep them "in check" if you're on orals.

I'm not sure about the dbol being worse for cholesterol than test, I think it is though.

I'm not sure it's back to normal yet, mine has always been between 130 and 160. 220 scares me honestly. I will check again after my current cycle is over.

Omega 3's don't decrease the LDL, they only increase the HDL....

The only surefire way to decrease LDL is to take a statin (Lipitor, Zocor, Prevachol, Lescol, Mevacor).

They place more stress on the liver, so you may want to take that in to account before you consider it.

I thought the consensus from doctors is that its not so much total cholesterol as it is the ratio between the HDL and LDL. If you can keep HDL's high during your cycle then it should help things out.

It is the ratio of HDL/LDL, however......how much extra Omega 3's are you willing to take to make that ratio tolerable again? Taking in that much Omegas will raise your total cholestrol which is detrimental anyway. The point is to up your HDL while LOWERING your LDL.

Lowering your LDL is a matter of diet as well as drugs (statins).

far worse

great job finding that article as well...

also, my cholest lowering arsenol, minus the liver protectants that I also take with them (some would argue that they help with cholesterol too, being that they take some strain off the liver, but...)

policosanol
no-flush niacin
flax and fish oils
Tons of fiber
red rice yeast
phytosterols
EDTA
concentrated green tea

It is better, but marginally.
