How to Hard Boil an Egg

Boil water
put egg in water
boil for 13 minutes
when done, run cold water in pot and let sit till eggs cool
refrigerate or eat
easy-peasy

add some salt to the water when boiling it and the eggs will peel more easily

I bring them to a boil in a sauce pan for 1-2 minutes, turn off the burner, and let sit in the water for an hour. I then strain out the water using the lid to keep the eggs in the sauce pan. Then, I hold the lid and the handle and shake the eggs around in the sauce pan to crack the shells. Finally, peel them under cold water.
