how to give a shottie ?

fellow blunt smokers help me out here, i love shotties but am having trouble giving good ones. when your giving one and the lit end is in your mouth, do you suck in or blow out ? can someone just explain in simple terms or something how to give a vicious lung crushing shottie ? Thanks
