***How to extract juice from amps***

Ok,
I think I got the openning part figured out. The only trouble i have now is extracting the juice. When I pull on the stopper, it compresses the air inside the needle, thus preventing me from sucking any more juice into the needle. I have to do a little at a time and it take me like 5 minutes just to get 1cc in the needle.

Im assuming your drawing up an oil-based AS....I would try drawing with an 18-guage and then switching to your needle of choice to inject(22 or 23 guage)....Dont know if you have any 18 guage available, but it will help you out....Fumunda

Fumunda, I'm using deca........Hmmmm...I just had an idea. What if I just take the needle off, then suck up the juice through the syringe opening. then just put the needle back (without touching it of course). The only problem with that is I would have to pour the juice into a container with a larger opening so the syringe head can fit in.....

Not a good idea.....I have heard of this method however but never used it myself.....Take the plunger all the way out of the syringe and take the needle off....Place your finger over the end of the syringe and pour the AS in the backside of the syringe....Reinsert the plunger and turn the syringe over and re-attach the needle and push the remaining air out.....Give it a shot....But dont put it in another container....Very unsterile...Fumunda

If your finger is over the end, does that not mean the sterile oil will come into contact with your unsterile finger? Surely when you put the stopper back in you will lose some as well before you turn it upside down. I prefer just using a larger pin to draw up.

Buy some 18 gauge needles - It will save you tons of time tinkering with these ideas....oh, and they're CHEAP!

I draw up Eq in a 23x1 and yes its a bitch but it only takes a few min. You just have to be patient. I found that injecting 1 or 2 cc inside the bottle helps a bit.
