Well, I can't remember all the technical details, it's been a long time since my research on this, but T4 isn't even really 1/4 of T3. T3 can be used by the Thyroid for anything, T4 must first be converted to T3, and isn't always converted, and isn't always useful for whatever purpose the body needs it to be. Suffice it to say, T3 is a much better choice for predictable results (my opinion based on research).
Now, as for dosing, I don't think 100mcg/day will do much for you. Over several months, well, yeah, it'll end up like Syntrax's Sythroid (was that the name of it?) and probably give some noticeable results. I'd run it closer to pittsburgh's cycle recommendation, but keep it going for a longer period of time, maybe that 2 to 3 month timeframe. You might only use 400mcg/day.
I've done a 3 month 400mcg/day cycle of it, and it seemed to aid in fat loss, but nothing dramatic. I also consider that a pretty safe dose. My recommendation, try it, start at 100mcg/day, see how your body tolerates it, and increase dose from there. I also recommend doing a LOT of research in web searches on T4 and T3 and reading real research articles, most likely not even pertaining to bodybuidling, to find out what the medical community has to say about the compounds.
