how to cut a belt?

i got a belt and gave it to a bro and i dont use it any more and he looks like an annoeirx dude and is about buck 35 with a waist like a female...

well whats the proper way to cut it?

just take off the one buckle part and cut away? that easy?

just use some scissors then scuff it up if you want... if not sand the edge where you cut it then use polish on it... as for putting new holes, i like using a drill bit while the leather is wet. then polish after and use a razor blade to remove excess leather strands.

dremel with sanding disc will cut it nice and burn a soft edge on the new cut
