How to become a Mod?

How do the Mods become Mods??? Is it post count? Karma?? What deams a member to be appointed this status?

And I am only curious, not out to bash and flame anyone - was just wondering....

It should be based on knowledge, personality, and what one contributes to the board.

However, i've heard politics come into play often, and those who should/want to be mods don't get the chance.

I think you have to sell AF products to be a Mod here

They should be someone who has all the attributes of a guy like Huck, imo...

Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and can show a sense of humor at times...It is guys like that which keep me here
