How to avoid bruising from INJECTIONS?

My Supp= Roids!

New member
It seems just about 2/3's the time I inject, the area bruises, this is not a good thing when your trying to keep this from your wife. Is there any way to avoid bruising?

I don't know about you but I shot my quad and never have a problem.

I just read 2thicks web page, bought some 23ga 1.5's and followed directions

The bruising might be caused by you moving the needle around while your injecting. Keep your hand steady whenever you aspriate or inject.

I think you answered your own question......use a new needle every time you inject (and keep the movement to a minimum)!!!!!!!!!!!!

This might help a bit too- hold the pin sharp end up and push a drop of the oil out before you shoot. Let it run down the pin so it lubricates it on the way in. This will lessen the stress on your skin at the injection site.

Now for something really important. USE A FRESH PIN FOR EVERY SHOT!!!!!!!! Reusing pins is just begging for an abcess- not if, but when!!

Bro, I didn't know you were reusing pins.

I dont even reuse the pin I push thru the rubber top on my deca.

If you can afford the roid and the food, you can afford to by more pins

Infections suck:bawling:

My experience is that you will get bruces when to don't inject deep enough. Happened a few times with me to, but never when i injected deep.

Every time you pass through a vein or blood vessle you have the potential for bruising . The lower your bf the more bruising is likely to occur . New needles every time and drawing needles may save you alot of trouble .

BRO, DO YOU HAVE DECENT MUSCLE MASS ON YOUR TRICEPS? IF SO, FLEX IT AND STICK THE PIN IN THE PEAK. YOU WILL NOT SEE A BRUISE I GUARANTEE.

hehe, well since I have a huge bruise and can't hardly walk I don't know if I should give you any tips. But, I find that when I draw out of an amp and don't have to go through a rubber stopper it goes much easier and doesn't bruise. If your pushing through the stopper and re-using the needle then that is one dull needle and could cause the bruising.

The rubber is not what dulls the needle, it's hitting the glass while you have the needle inside of the bottle or on the way in hitting the rim. This is surgical steel we're talking about. There is the fact though that sometimes neeles come out of the package dull.....

Justin- I agree that hitting the glass dulls it too. But, in my experiance when i've had to re-use a needle and was drawing out of an amp it stayed much sharper. You can't tell me the rubber doesn't dull it.

thanks for the inputs.........

I think I will start hitin the tris and bis.....I have a armband tat that I can shoot through....

I half to admit, shootin into the tris and bis kinda scares the poo out of my, never done it before

imo, when drawing out of an amp, definately change the pin.if you run your pin into the bottom of the amp,and even bump the sides of the amp you are gona dull it more than going through the rubber on a vial

ALWAYS replace needles after using them to draw oil from an amp.

I never really cared until I looked at a few microscopic pictures of a hypodermic needle tip after 1, 2, 4, and 6 uses. after 1 it becomes significantly duller, and after 2 its bent enough to look painful.

I agree with BigWh1tey - most of the time bruises from injection are a result of hitting a blood vessel. This is why most people bruise easily shooting in the delts since it's a very vascular region. You could try to minimize this by looking for veins (provided your bodyfat is low enough) under a bright bathroom light in the mirror- I always do this before shooting my bi's/quads and mark a circle that is clear of veins. Since you are doing this to hide it from your wife make sure you mark in a water-based ink pen!

My update!

Had a buddy of mine throw a dart in each delt and give me the injections, I figured with his two hands he would be less likely to move while administration.

He did a great job! not marks at all with the 22g!!!!!

I think I will stick with the delts for awhile.
