IE, are you the type of person who will hook up with another just because it's there, or do you look for something a little more? Depends on how your feeling at the time?

Call me old fashioned, but I feel the need to get to know someone a little bit before anything happens. Plus it makes it a little more intense with some waiting involved.

many don't have it these days

and Its desturbing, largely media induced/ encourged via makret messages that reinforce and express our basal animalistic sides

instead of modern society cultivating our humanity its cultivating our consumption of our selves, our histories, and our resources.........

its not sustainable, not stable, regressive, and a damn shame....


I can;t tell whether to be a fighter against it ( though I will suffer) or just go with it and be one of the leaders in the pillaging......

sad, we should all be ashamed in Gods eyes.....

I have recently gotten to know a very attractive, petite little blonde up here with some of the sexiest bee-stung lips I have ever seen. The more I see her and get to talk to her the more I am attracted to her. She works with kids up at the activity center, always has 20-30 little kids with her and never one have I seen her lose her temper or without a smile. E.G. she would make an excellent mother. I totally want to pursue her and see what happens... then found out... she has a boyfriend and lives with him. This immediately put her into the friends category whereas before, when I was younger, it wouldn't have mattered. I would have just moved in and figured it out later bf or not. But I have come to respect the fact she has a bf unluckily for me and won't do anything until that relationship is resolved. So now I just get to look and wonder. Damn all this growing up and maturing crap.

O.k., but I think you should still try to talk and pursue a friendship at first; just talk to her, let her know you're there, but don't push anything on her once she knows you know she has a bf. If she is in a good relationship, well, too bad for you. BUT, if she isn't happy in it, who will she start to think about? mhhmmm. Don't be too passive about it; there is nothing wrong with showing her what a great guy you are(are you?) and it's up to her anyways what guy she chooses to be with. You have to figure out if she is a damsel in distress, and only if she is, then work your way in when she's ready. You'll soon be able to tell if she is happy in her relationship, or having problems.

Many would love to blame our current state on the media, but it is derived mainly from institutions of learning and academia. Prior to the arts picking up on these beliefs, our campuses and faculties were being infiltrated by those who understand the power of propagandizing to the young and corruptable. Where else can one find self-proclaimed Communists and Marxists in today's society, but on campus? Where else do works proclaiming the virtue of ignorance and impotence of man's reasoning abilities derive from, if not from academia?
