How should one use arimidex post cycle to jump start HPTA?

I think it was Huck who posted on this a while ago, but I'm not sure. Can someone specify how to use arimidex in conjunction with Clomid post cycle?

The study that we are all quoting was done with 1mg/day. That's what I would recommend you use.

What would be the reasoning for takin 1mg OF Arimidex ed, and for how long would you recomend it for? Would you recomend clomid and HCG along with this?

As far as I understand it, you shouldn't use HCG post cycle. Use Clomid concurrently with the arimidex post cycle though. And as far as how long to use the arimidex, that's a good question so bump for that one.

Clomid blocks the receptor but as test levels ramp up and it aromatizes into estrogen, clomid will not block 100% of the estrogen. Using anastrozol in conjunction works in a slightly different fashion and prevents the creation of estrogen, so in essence the two are working synergistically together to block/prevent creation of estrogen to speed up recovery.

Thanks, Zyg. So should the Arimidex be taken at 1mg ED for the same time as the entire route of Clomid therapy?

If I were on a cycle and allready using it I would just continue the same dose until done with clomid. If I was on a cycle of nonaromatizing AAS and wanted to start using it simply to speed up post cycle recovery, I would likely do .25 or .5mg ed......doing more wont hurt anything but your wallet though.

How much quicker would one recover if there was no estrogen or very little estrogen in their system (someone using both Arimidex and Clomid) to say someone who had only used clomid (ie meaning they had a bit more estrogen in their system). I've been under the impression that having the clomid bind to the ER was one of the methods in which natural test levels were increased like Nolva does furthermore the binding of a little extra estrogen with the clomid would actually act almost like taking a higher dose of the clomid. I think that unless you've been on for a super long time or are very suceptible to estrogen induced gyno then there would be very little need to accompany clomid use with Arimidex use. Does this make any sense or am I just way off?

ZYG, would taking arimidex while on an eq only cycle prevent the shut down of HPTA??? It would block the aromatise (although small with eq) to estrogen and thus stop my boys from disappearing right??? I am on 400mg wk eq only now and dont' want my nat test to disappear, what are your suggestions?
