How often to tan?

well I went my first time and tryed tanning with the cyclone stand up machine. I didn't really get much of anything, but I did only go in for 5 instead of 8 for fear of burning. Next time I will go for 8. How often should I go, when trying to get a base tan? I know after I have a tan I need to go once a week but what about before that? Also what lotions do you guys use? I think I need something, but not something that will breakout my skin. The first session definitely dryed my skin. Only problem with the cyclone is that it cost me 14$ which is pretty expensive considering I am poor.

i see the deals with most places around here like 30/ month for unlimited......but its aimed at poor college girls so maybe thats why

yeah I think its because thats without a package and this is the new so called "state of the art" tanner that only takes 8 minutes, and turns a lot more then burns you because of its high intensity. Plus its nice to not lay down. But how to do memberships work then? I mean it was 120$ for 12 sessions, but then I also saw a sign that says 99 for 3 months membership, so does this mean you ave to join and then pay for a package on top of the 99$'s? Thats pretty rediculous if so.

No that's not how it works i don't think.

They have the 2 different deals like that because people tan differently.

Like, say you wanted to go tanning 5 times a month, then you want the 3 month deal because of the high amount of times you go.

But say you only wanted to go tanning twice a month, then why would you want to pay $99 to go tanning 6 times? You would purchase the $120 for 12 sessions because you can use the 12 sessions as you please spread out over 6 months or whatever.
