how often do you do arm excersing?

I just started going to the gym again and I have been doing the old one bodypart per day routine with tries on chest day and bies on back day.

I only do 9 sets of tries and 6 sets of bies and I have had more growth in my arms then I ever did when I dedicated a full day to only arms, or trained them more then once per week.
 
Lately I've been doing them 3x a week (since I am doing an HST). Only 6 sets for bi and tri each week though. Still great size and strength gains.

Next week, will be moving into the 5x5, and plan to do an accessory exercise on M and F for each bi and tri. Hopefully the growth will continue.
 
Zero sets for over 18 months. Literally. Enjoying the gains from the compound lifts too much to worry about them.
