How often do you cheat?

Is a diet still effective if you go hard 5 days a week, and then cheat a little on Friday and Saturday?

How often do you cheat?

I cheat once in awhile, every few weeks. IMO 2 days a week is too much, but of course it depends on the person.
 
Whoops! I thought this thred was about Girlfreinds. :p

I eat a pretty clean diet (no snack foods, fast foods, Coke, etc...) but I will eat some chicken fingers and drink some beers on the weekend.
 
1 cheat meal a week .

usually large pepperoni pizza with vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge for dessert ( SP ?? )

ive been eating clean all week, then i cheat from friday nite till sunday nite, i got to stop that.. i think i need to cut down to 1 cheat meal a week.
 
cheating a little on a diet is o.k. it keeps your body's metbolism different so your body doesn't adjust to the same calorie intake.just try and keep it to only one day of the week. If you stay at the almost the same amount of calories from day to day your metabolism will down to adjust to the lower intake.
 
Cripes... I "cheat" all the freekin time. My theory is... as long as I can eat what I need to (my 300-400g's of protien) and a sufficent amount of clean calories... I can have the extra stuff I want. I have a fairly high metobolism, so cheating doesn't really set me back...

Thanks for the replies...good to know I'm not alone. I guess I better make it 1 cheat day instead of two. I can't help but crave pasta and bread (and a couple beers) at least once during the week. I love carbs. Damn it.

you can take 1 cheat DAY a week instead of 1 cheat meal ,it is ok as long as you eat a perfect diet the other 6 days of the week , but STILL , results will be better with 1 cheat MEAL ( not day ) a week .

but guys , 2 ,3 cheat days a week is nonsense for someone trying to lose fat .

Shit i'm on a bulking cycle and i don't cheat. I eat clean all the time and go figure i'm holding some water and i kinda feel jiggly.
 
I've gotten to the point where I really can't cheat that much, at all. Quite frankly, the thought of eating a pint of Haagen Daz disgusts me. In three hours, I may have a change of heart.
 
I'm bulking as of now and I'm getting 4500 to 5000 clean cals a day and the last thing I want is food....I feel like a fucking whale....Next time I'm using some arimidex...But to answer the ? I have one cheat meal a week and then I get back to my regular eating habits.
 
if you got keto for 5 days straight then on days 6 and 7 you can cheat, other then that not good, you should have your refeeding days once every 5 or 6 days but no cheating
 
ANOTHER FACTOR.. what do u consider cheating.. this mite b diffrent for diffrent peeple.. so one persons cheat mite b normal for another..
like i would consider the candy cheating
 
I don't have to diet. I have eaten everything my whole life and stay around 5% body fat. Even now I weight 215, eat 2-4 frozen pizzas a day plus all kinds of other stuff and stay around 5-7% tops. It's good to be me.

how old are you? A lot of people have that metabolism when they're young, some are blessed for life, I hate those fuckers!

i love to eat also..but it makes me fat.... i kno a kid that all he does is eat pizza smoke and drink, probably not one gram of protein all day.
does the bench and curls workout 3 times a week. and is the most jacked kid i kno.. i hate peeple like that..wish i was one of them.
