How often do u train arms?

I work arms every session so 3x per week. They get used a lot in some of the compound exercises.

Last August was probably the last time I did any biceps isolation exercise. I usually try to fit them in every two or three months for a few sessions but I've been slipping. I've been known to do some triceps pushdowns occasionally. It freaks people out when I slip the pin into the bottom of the stack.

like BW 3x a wk indirectly, but on sundays i do a bit of assistance work. so after i'm done with cleans, GMs, upright rows, light military press then i'll do 3x8 of CGBP & BB curl, but not too heavy - as i said this part is just assistance.

I can't believe I'm answering a coldblue post, but I train them 3 x every 2 weeks. I don't think it makes much difference in the grand scheme of things but the whole compound thing doesn't work for me (dips, rows, chins have all gone up a lot in 2 years but arm size hasn't)

I did one arm-specific exercise in 9 weeks but I just added 3 sets of barbell curls once a week to my next program.

My sentiments exactly.

coldblue1955--How do I get added to your friends list? And why the fuck do you care how often I lift heavy stuff using my arms? Piss off.

I train my "arms" 3 times a week. Mainly because I do everything in front of a power rack, or from the floor. For biceps, at the end of my workout I do weighted chinups, 6x5.

I'm not gonna lie, nor am I embarassed. I do isolation work. On back and leg day, I will do either 2 sets of BB curls or DB Hammer curls. When I do chest and shoulders, I will do 2x10 of incline skulls or pushdowns.

Don't hate me for it, I just like when my arms are pumped up... :qt:

i need a good arm workout tonight!
Try 12oz curls, then slowly work your way up to 22oz, 32oz, and finally 40oz...just kiddin, try straight barbell curls and close-grip bench press.
