How much strength loss is expected for cutting?

Fast Twitch Fiber

Let's say I want to get my fat ass into contest shape. Right now I bench about 330 at 182. What would I expect my bench to drop to if I got cut and dropped to say 165? Is there anyone with competion experience with a similar build and strength level?

Wow for your weight you are a strong dude prob have alot of tendon strength. Any ways I started my contest diet at 273 and am now at 238. To tell you the truth I have not lost that much strength. The problem is you just dont feel like lifting the weight. Obviously the gear that you are on will determine alot of this. If you are that worried about loosing strength run your diet the way that your would but keep on the orals and tren. Example: test, dbol, tren. This is a killer cutter, you will loose the fat keep alot of strength. But you will have some bloat But remember that that goes away, so when you want to loose the water replace the dbol with nolvadex. You will be shreaded.

dam you are strong for your weight if thats your bench...it is possible to cut and gain strength.....anavar worked for me.....i didnt go by the scale i went by bf.....on btg var i went from 220 at 18 % bf to 228 @ a little over 10% i pretty sure i had exceptional gains though!
my strength went through the roof while cutting!

I have been dieting for a while now..trying to reach my goal of 6-8%..i dont compete and this is the first time im cutting..I am not on cycle either and i have recently added some decent weight to my Deadlifts and some other moves..So it is possible to make strength gains..

Yeah! Keep your diet on par and take an adequate amount of gear and you can actually maintain your strength levels if not even add some strength. Like concordsize said you just don't feel like banging it out as hard sometimes due to the calorie and energy defecit sometimes.
