How much size/mucle/weight would I expect to gain...

New Jack

...with this program?

I am 6'0 203 lbs. with a little gut on me. I will be using a Natrol brand multi vitamin (I take 1 every morning), 1 N-Large shake (I take a 4 scoop (52 g of protein)shake every night around 11:30 pm), 3 Whey Protein shakes (The can only recommends 1 scoop with 16 oz. of water in a shake but I will be taking 3 scoops (72 g of protein) in 48 oz. of water in a shake and one shake will be right after working out.), Twinlab Glutamine (4.5 g after a workout and before bed or just before bed on non training days), Crea Tech Creatine (5 g before workout or at dinner on non training days).

Eating 6-7 meals a day including two cans of tuna a day, chicken, rice, steak, pasta, and some fast food because 1) I'm trying to bulk up 2) My schedule is hectic so fast food is all I can get some times for 1-2 of my meals a day, 2 gallons water a day, two myoplex drinks to go every day they contain 20 g of protein a piece.

I will also be getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night and HIT weight training 2x a week which looks like this:

Tues.

1) Stretch out

2) Warm up jumping rope for 5 min.

3) Flat bench 3x5

4) Decline Bench 3x5

5) Incline bench 3x5

6) Military press 3x5

7) Squats 3x5

8) Forearm curls 3x15

9) Reverse curls 3x15

10) Forearm grip machine 3x15

11) Lat pulldowns 3x8

12) Cool down and stretch out.

Fri.

1) Stretch out

2) Warm up jumping rope for 5 min.

3) Deadlifts 3x5

4) Shrugs 3x5

5) Hanging cleans 3x5

6) Standing barbell curls 3x8

7) Standing dumbell hammer curls 3x8

8) Tricep pushdowns 3x8

9) Neck machine 3x5 or 4x5 haven't decided yet

10) Calf raises 3x15

11) Cool down and stretch out.

I will be working abs 5 days a week and seeing I am bulking up I will be doing no cardio and I will switch this workout up every 6 weeks.

I also haven't lifted "seriously" in about a year, so I imagine my muscle receptors would be sensitive to the training and I would blow up.

I will be using NO steroids or andro products.

My question is, I know everyone's body is different, but about how much weight am I looking at putting on in the next 8 weeks using this program?

Thanks in advance for the replies fellas and I sincerely think (thanks in GREAT part to you guys) I made a wise choice to go all natural until I am "ready".

bro, your gonna put on a shitload of FAT!!! first, fast food 2 times/day!!! thats crazy. also, no cardio and only training twice per week??? your only doing physical activiy 2 times a week!! think about it? if you wanna stick to eating fast food twice a day (which i wouldnt recomend even for bulking) then you MUST train or do cardio more often to work off all that food. with that diet that you have outlined, it seems like you will be taking in around 5000-6000 cals/day. that is just WAY too much. get your diet and training correct. bulking takes time if done right. you dont wanna gain 20lbs in a week....

That training schedule looks pretty shitty to me. Looks like to much work for one day.

I dont see you gaining much weight, size, muscle at all.
Maybe a little strength but thats it. You might lose a little fat.

8 weeks isnt shit natural. No matter how much glutamine and creatine you take. You need to think what youll gain in 6 months not 8 weeks.

why the hell is this posted in the Anabolic forum?:die: learn where to post your topics. oh and not to dis but your program- sucks!

Well... Jack Off. It doesn't quite look like I'm the only one who thinks your program sucks. But I will tell you it does. Now if you want my help DON'T call me an asshole, and call me a dick head. It sounds like you don't know shit about training to me. Working out twice a week? :bright:

Working out twice a week is bad? Hmmmmmm. I highly doubt you had a better physique than a prime Mike Menzer, and he only worked out twice a week.

dude, Not in all my time of being able to weight train and searching for weight programs or reading up on bodbuilding and weight training have i seen a weight training program so foolish. If you didn't know how to set up one and just put this up i give you the benefit of the doubt. But if someone that claimed to know a thing or two about lifting or called mhimself an expert told you to go on this program he is a complete utter moron. He should apologize to you

for wasting your time and needs to be taken out back and shot

You need to weight train 4 - 6 times per week recommended nowadays. And split your training up. I do chest/back, shoulders/arms, legs/lower back. and abs every ... ahh ya know what. There's a whole lot to it so i suggest you get some education on it. there's a whole lot to weight lifting and putting on strength/mass/losing fat than meets the eye.

go to barnes and noble or something and find some books on this it should help. I don't think a few posts here and there are going to do anything if you think training twice a week with weights is a good idea to get your desired affect.

Here's my schedule, you can try it out if you like.

Mon - chest
Tues - bi's
Wed - legs
Thurs - tri's & front and side delts
Fri - back, traps, & rear delts

I think you're eating too much food while training frequency is too low. On the days that you do train, you are over exhasting all your muscles and therefore, you can't possibly maximize in any area. I suggest you split bodyparts and train 4 times a week.

:cyclops:

Eating a million grams of protein a day like you're planning on doing won't be that beneficial on a 2x a week training program. Step up the training or step down the calories, either one. At two times a week, your body might need 3000 calories a day, not 6000.

i've spent the last 10 years building a solid physique. never used AS or even adro to get this point and believe me i've competed 4 times this year and won 3 out of the 4 so i know my shit is tight. i start my ox only cycle soon but like anyone will tell you, you have to have a good base before starting AS. you have to try to develope your body to its limits naturally then you have a great starting ground for AS use.

that being said im always baffeled by assholes who get on here and ask for help with diet and training and when they are hit with the hard truth they want to get defensive. shut the fuck up and get off the fuckin board if you dont want the truth. what are you looking for someone to hold your hand and make the crap you are doing sound nice. ITS GARBAGE!! THE DIET THE WORKOUT IS ALLL GARBAGE!!!! if i were you i would take a tip on what i do when i am looking for help since i dont know it all......ready....here it is.............HUMBLE YOUR MUTHA FUKIN SELF WHEN YOU ASK QUESTIONS. SAY PLEASE AND THANKYOU NO MATTER HOW HARSH THE DELIVERY OF INFORMATION BECAUSE THE BOTTOM LINE IS YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYONE TO HELP YOU CALLING THEM DICKHEAD. NOT THE GURUS ANYWAY.

Eating that much food (esp fast food) and the carb drinks everyday and only training twice a week will just add fat. From your training schedule, it looks like overtraining is pretty obvious. Split that up into trainig 5 days a week, go easy on the carb drinks (unless you want to add fat mass) and keep up the protein. The people here know what they're talking about and they obviously know a lot more than you so you should listen instead of bitch. What works for mike doesn't work for everyone. Hell, my friend eats fast food 3 times and day and hes still ripped but you wont see me trying it.

Oh and another note,

You body is not going to use up 72g of protien like that. You're wasting your protien. Eat no more then 40-50g of protien at one time. Otherwise ---> Fat

you got train more than twice and week when your eating like that. wayyyyyyyy toooooooo much protein. your taking supplements, think months, not weeks. your not Mike Mentzer so you can't say that and BTW if you want any help from anyone you Can't call them assholes or dickheads. try a program where you work say: chest & tris one day, back & bis one day, Shoulders one day and legs on another day. also, your gonna get fat if you eat all that food and don't do any cardio. just my .02.

Your core training should consist of the deadlift, squat, and bench. If you focus on these you will build a fine physique in spite of yourself.

That being said - Mentzer (may he RIP) got his ideas and training methodology from Arthur Jones. The only thing Jones did was get rich off of Nautilus equipment. As we all know, Nautilus and machines in general are very poor at adding size/strength. I've used Mentzer's workouts and it basically made all my lifts go down. If I was jacked to the max on dbol I may have gotten a different effect but then again I probably would have gained a ton more with a good workout and the drugs.

BTW - most knowledgable strength coaches (like the best ones especially internationally) think HIT blows.

Ignore forearm and calf work. For athletics focus on the hamstrings with good mornings and power cleans/high pulls to add some explosion - I think this is what you are going for.

Also read Louie Simmons - do a yahoo search, I think it's Elitefintesssystems.com or something. Many of the pro football and hockey coaches have attended his seminars and the guys frickin' brilliant although you may not have all the assistance items he utilizes at your gym.
