How much rest between sets in the needsize 5x5?

Especially between the anchor 5x5 sets. 1 minute? Two?

Obviously, when I go to 2 minutes, I have earlier failure than 1 minute rest. And IF I took only 30 seconds, I'd have even more failure.

Damn, I don't think I would benefit much if I only rested a minute. Because I'm going as heavy as I can, I take 3min rest in between my 5x5 movements, and either 1:30 or 2min on my other lifts.

At the beginning of the cycle, the rest I use is short (probably a minute or less). As weight is added each week, the rest periods get progressively longer, but never more than 3 minutes. I think you'll develop a "feel" for how long to wait if you start the cycle way under your max as Needsize reccommended.

i just rest as i need to, to be able to give it 100% for the next set. if your still breathing hard or dizzy then you cant give it 100%.

I will try 3 minutes. I think for the last set of my 5x5 the spotter was lifting more than I was. I took a longer rest after the 3rd set then the 2nd set and actually had less trouble with the 4th set because of that.

I do 2-3 on stuff like bench, 3-5 on deads and squats, basically whatever I need, but I time it and keep it the same amount every time

My back strength is really going up. I've been adding 10 lbs/week to pulldowns sometimes it still isn't enough.

Do you guys have a site for info on this technique????
I'm wondering if i should do this only for the chest and/or every other exercise (ie: back, shoulder, etc)

Maybe two minutes for deadlifts & squats; closer to 1 minute for everything else.
